When one starts to grow an inch taller

There's happiness in your parents eyes when you start standing by your own at 2 years old. 

There's pride when your little limbs can carry your weight and start walking without the wheels 

But there's sadness when you start to move out, get married and become a parent. 

The same way there's happiness, pride and solitude when you grow up and lose your youth. 

It's not about losing that fast metabolism

or the energy to stay up at 5 am, watch dramas and cartoons 

Not even about losing your glowing skin or flexible joints.

When you lose your youth

Your'e stripped off of your innocence, dreams, make believes and idealism. 

Its letting go of that arrogance, bravery, and humor 

Yet there's no chance to rewind

no time to stop growing inches 

just moving forward with life.
